About the position As part of the development of its expertise communities, Scalian is opening a new Practice: "Digital Continuity/ALM/PLM". The "Digital Continuity/ALM/PLM" Practice is a strategic pillar of Scalian's development in complex industrial environments. The Practice Director acts as an architect of the digital transformation of products and engineering cycles, with a key role in: the structuring of the ALM/PLM offering, the strategic positioning of Scalian with major accounts, the animation of a high value-added expertise community. This position is intended for a leader capable of carrying a vision, embodying sharp expertise, and building a true strategic asset for the Group.
Value added of the position Direct influence on Scalian's positioning in engineering professions. Creation of a differentiating strategic asset to win big deals. Structuring contribution to the Group's business and technological roadmap.
Strategic missions
- Definition and steering of the ALM/PLM strategy
Define the practice vision: market positioning, growth axes, technological orientations. Identify high-potential segments (energy, aeronautics, defense) and define investment priorities. Contribute to the Group's strategic decisions (technological roadmap, structuring of expertise, organization).
- Construction of a differentiating offering
Design and formalize structured and robust ALM/PLM offerings. Evaluate and integrate market solutions: 3DEXPERIENCE, Polarion, PTC Windchill, ARAS. Capitalize and produce assets: demonstrators, frameworks, delivery models.
- Business leadership & animation of expertise
Build, unite, and grow a community of engineering / product experts. Bring technical referents to the fore and develop their skills. Ensure the consistency of practices, methods, and technical standards.
- Client engagement & C-level influence
Intervene as a business expert during strategic meetings. Strengthen Scalian's credibility with engineering, IS, and innovation departments. Lead or co-lead responses to major calls for tender.
Operational responsibilities Change management: implementation, deployment, training, and coaching. Support for complex projects (architecture, integration, lifecycle issues). Active participation in bids, presentations, and vendor listing operations.
Qualifications 10 years minimum in ALM/PLM, product engineering, or integration. Indispensable knowledge of engineering environments.
Key skills Mastery of ALM/PLM architectures and digital continuity issues. Strong systemic analysis capacity: product, data, configuration, lifecycle. Recognized technical leadership. Ability to structure a scope and carry a vision. English required (minimum B2 level)
Soft Skills Natural leadership & expert posture. Impact in presentations and C-level interactions. Strong result orientation & long-term vision. Ability to train, unite, and create buy-in.
