Responsibilities and assignments

Activities - Manager

• Plan and define preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance standards for general building facilities, automation, data cabling, and other support devices for data center facilities;
• Plan and define physical security processes, access control, and monitoring of the building facilities supporting the data center;
• Ensure the quality of service provision and activities;
• Maintain contact with service providers;
• Supervise project execution;
• Manage performance and service level indicators;
• Focal point for customers;
• Execute process improvement and delivery tasks;
• Define the priority scale for execution;
• Distribute tasks among team members;
• Apply feedback;
• Manage administrative activities to support facility operations.

Activities - Coordinator

• Survey of maintenance activities for scheduling;
• Training the maintenance team regarding operational and maintenance procedures;
• Monitoring maintenance service provider companies;
• Monitoring maintenance indicators and SLA through weekly meetings with the resident maintenance team;
• Requesting maintenance quotes;
• Coordinating works related to electrical, civil, mechanical, hydraulic, and air-conditioning maintenance;
• Planning the execution of operational services by verifying risks and creating procedures and changes, presenting them to the CAB for approval by all company areas;
• Evaluating the quality of services provided by both resident technicians and external providers;
• Developing technical processes, procedures, and improvements;
• Controlling and updating documents related to the maintenance area (procedures, layouts, spreadsheets, etc.);
• Preparing proposals for the installation of new customers or the expansion of existing ones;
• Implementing best practices applied to infrastructure, operation, and maintenance of services related to the datacenter;
• Interacting with other company areas and/or external customers to identify needs and improvements;
• Enforcing data center security standards and policies.

Requirements and qualifications

If you are interested in the Manager of Operations opportunity, the essential pre-requisites are:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience in a mission-critical environment;
• Proficiency in the Office package;
• Intermediate or advanced English;
• Spanish is desirable.

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience in team management and leadership;
• Experience in Data Center;
• Has worked in similar roles;
• English and Spanish are desirable.
