Responsibilities and assignments

• Verify, measure, and monitor all electrical systems and equipment within the data center;
• Operate and provide emergency maintenance on the 13.8KV substation according to internal procedures or the manufacturer's manual;
• Install and uninstall electrical parts of PDUs up to the equipment or racks;
• Change light bulbs inside and outside the building, using ladders and scaffolding;
• Operate and perform maintenance on de-energized or energized electrical panels, in the latter case using appropriate clothing and EPIs;
• Provide maintenance for the infrastructure of CCTV and access control systems of the data center;
• Monitor maintenance service provider companies and evaluate the quality of services provided by external suppliers;
• Fill in comments and record hours for OS in SIM+;
• Implement best practices applied to the infrastructure, operation, and maintenance of services related to the datacenter;
• Interact with customers and ensure full satisfaction of data center users;
• Enforce data center security standards and policies;
• Perform periodic rounds at the site;
• Attend to calls in Service Now;
• Verify, measure, and monitor all refrigeration and mechanical systems and equipment within the data center;
• Operate and provide emergency maintenance on the CAG according to internal procedures;
• Clean cooling towers;
• Operate and maintain fancoils, towers, pumps, selfs, and chillers;
• Measure electrical and refrigeration parameters of various equipment;
• Provide maintenance using welding and painting equipment.

Requirements and qualifications

Essential Pre-requisites

• High School Diploma completed;
• Technician in electromechanics, electrical, electronics, or automation + refrigeration mechanic course;
• NR-10;
• NR-35;
• Knowledge of chilled water plants;
• Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration diagrams;
• Intermediate knowledge in: Industrial electricity and data cabling, electrical equipment, refrigeration mechanics, reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automation diagrams, occupational safety, electrical commands, chiller operation, Maintenance Management Software, and Software – ServiceNow.
• Basic knowledge in: Mechanical equipment, building hydraulic systems, CCTV system, access control and building security, microcomputing, Industrial automation, generator sets, UPS system.
