Project Manager - Building

Responsibilities

• Manage and control large-scale building renovation projects, from project preparation, design, and construction permit acquisition to construction, handover, and commissioning.
• Manage and coordinate with building users, executives, and relevant departments to ensure projects meet business objectives.
• Supervise the work of all design disciplines to ensure compliance with laws and the constraints of the existing building.
• Prepare scopes of work, tender documents, conduct bidding processes, and select contractors.
• Supervise and manage construction work within the existing building, covering structural work, architectural work, Facade work, and all building systems.
• Control budget, timeline, work quality, and work changes (Variation / Change Order).
• Manage project risks and oversee compliance with building laws, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Monitor testing, inspection, and handover of building systems (Testing & Commissioning).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. At least 10-15 years of experience in managing construction for high-rise buildings, hotels, or renovation projects. Comprehensive understanding of integrated building systems, covering structure, MEP systems, Facade work, and Interior work. Experience in Renovation / Retrofit / Major Upgrade will be specially considered. Possess end-to-end project management skills and can communicate in English at a professional working level.
