Accounting Economist for a growing accounting firm

About the position

We are looking for an accounting economist who will work with ongoing accounting and financial administration for companies within various industries. You will have close contact with customers and assist them with financial advice and reporting.

Scope: The position is initially at 60% with good possibilities to expand to 100% after one year, depending on the business needs and the employee's performance.

Tasks

Ongoing bookkeeping Accounts receivable and accounts payable VAT and tax declarations Reconciliations and accruals Year-end closing work and preparation of annual reports Payroll administration (merit) Customer contact in Swedish, English, and Chinese Other administrative tasks within finance and accounting

Qualifications

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as an accounting economist Previous experience working at an accounting firm Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or equivalent Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in English and Chinese Good computer literacy and experience with financial systems

Merit

Knowledge of Swedish Experience with Fortnox, Visma, or similar financial systems Experience in payroll management Knowledge of Swedish tax and corporate law
