Site Electrical Construction Engineer
Supervise and directly oversee on-site installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, cabling, lighting, and earthing/bonding works.
Lead installation of Fire & Gas (F&G) detection systems — gas detectors, flame/heat detectors, F&G control panels, and interfacing with ESD/PLC systems.
Ensure execution complies with relevant international codes and standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA 72 where applicable) and approved shop drawings.
Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and loop checks for F&G and electrical systems.
Coordinate in real time with other on-site disciplines (mechanical, instrumentation, civil) to resolve conflicts and installation clashes.
Manage subcontractors and labor crews on site to meet daily/weekly execution targets.
Verify materials and cable/equipment deliveries against approved submittals.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for F&G systems (loop testing, cause & effect verification).
Prepare As-Built markups based on actual site execution.
Submit daily/weekly site progress reports to project management.
Ensure site safety (HSE) compliance during electrical installation and testing activities.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power or Communications).
2+ years of hands-on site experience in electrical construction, with proven exposure to Fire & Gas system installation (EPC, Oil & Gas, or industrial projects preferred).
Solid understanding of cable installation, termination, cause & effect logic, and F&G panel wiring.
Comfortable working full-time at project site locations, including remote or industrial sites.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading and marking up electrical/F&G drawings on site.
Strong site coordination and conflict-resolution skills.
Good command of English; Arabic native or fluent.
Egyptian military service completed or exempted (for male candidates).
