Receivable Manager

Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable team and daily AR activities.

Oversee customer invoicing, credit notes, debit notes, and account adjustments.

Monitor customer outstanding balances, aging reports, and overdue accounts.

Develop and implement effective collection plans to improve cash collection and reduce overdue receivables.

Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment commitments.

Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Contracts, Procurement, and Operations to resolve billing and collection issues.

Review customer accounts and ensure accurate allocation of receipts and reconciliation of balances.

Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms and escalate credit risks when required.

Ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices and supporting documents.

Prepare and analyze AR aging, collection, DSO, overdue, and cash collection reports.

Support monthly and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.

Coordinate with auditors and provide required AR documentation and supporting schedules.

Identify long-outstanding or disputed balances and coordinate appropriate resolution.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Provide management with regular updates on collection performance, cash flow risks, and major overdue accounts.

Establish and monitor AR KPIs and team performance.

Support continuous improvement and automation of AR processes.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Typically 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Accounting, including relevant supervisory/managerial experience.

Strong experience in customer collections, invoicing, reconciliations, and receivables aging.

Experience with ERP/accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an advantage.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal financial controls.

Experience managing and developing an accounting/AR team.

Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience in EPC, engineering, construction, oil & gas, or project-based organizations is preferred.
