Application Engineer - Navigation Expert - Fluent English (M/F)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of our strong development, we are looking for an Expert Application Engineer to join and strengthen our teams. Reporting directly to the Customer Support Manager, you will be in charge of level 3 support to ensure the success of our customers' projects: from product qualification to implementation. You will also participate in the internal qualification and testing of new solutions. You will join a team of 10 people. Main missions: Technical expertise and customer support:

• Handle complex technical issues requiring advanced expertise.
• Support strategic customers in the evolution, optimization, and securing of their architectures.
• Intervene on-site when necessary for critical phases: integration, commissioning, validation, or resolution of complex incidents.
• Capitalize on feedback from customer projects.
• Identify recurring needs and propose improvements to processes or solutions.

Product contribution:

• Organize and lead test campaigns, evaluations, and qualifications of new hardware and software solutions.
• Identify gaps between field needs and available functionalities.
• Escalate product evolution needs to the R&D and Product teams.
• Challenge integration, architecture, or configuration choices.
• Contribute to technical studies, advanced demonstrations, trials, and feasibility validations.

Internal technical referent

• Train and support field application engineers and level 1 and 2 support teams.
• Develop the team's technical skills through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Participate in defining best practices and intervention methodologies.
• Act as a technical escalation point for internal teams.
• Develop and maintain advanced internal and external technical documentation.

This list is not exhaustive. This position involves travel in France and abroad.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• Trained in geomatics or embedded systems engineering with expertise in the design or use of Navigation and Positioning technologies (land, air, or maritime).
• You have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Measurement analysis tools (preferably Matlab or Python), positioning and Navigation systems (GNSS, inertial, Imaging, Lidar, etc...) have no secrets from you?
• Are you interested in geodesy?
• Do you speak English? (Working language).
• Ready to take on this challenge through close collaboration with several internal departments. All this with autonomy while working with international customers?
