Senior / Fire Safety Manager (FSM)

Role Overview: We are looking for a Registered Fire Safety Manager / Senior Fire Safety Manager to oversee fire safety compliance and operations across our managed facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with SCDF regulations and maintaining a safe environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the appointed Fire Safety Manager for assigned premises as per SCDF requirements
• Ensure compliance with Fire Safety Act, regulations, and codes of practice
• Conduct daily / weekly fire safety inspections and maintain fire safety records and logbooks
• Maintain and oversee fire protection systems – fire alarm, sprinkler, hosereel, hydrant, emergency lighting, etc.
• Develop, review and implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and In-Place Protection / Evacuation procedures
• Organize and conduct fire drills, table-top exercises, and fire safety trainings for tenants, cleaners, and operations team
• Liaise with SCDF, building owners, and clients on fire safety matters, audits, and inspections
• Investigate fire alarm activations and safety incidents, prepare incident reports and corrective actions
• Supervise and train Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)
• Support Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and sustainability initiatives where required

Requirements:

• Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as FSM in commercial, industrial, or government facilities
• Familiar with SCDF codes, Fire Code, and building fire protection systems
• Good knowledge of WSH practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently
