Savaya Group is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide practical legal guidance and support across the Group’s hospitality and lifestyle businesses. In this role, you will work closely with management and business functions to manage contracts, corporate matters, licensing, regulatory compliance, and legal risks. You will be expected to translate legal requirements into clear, commercially practical recommendations that support the Group’s operations and growth. What You’ll Do Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, partnership, sponsorship, lease, service, licensing, and confidentiality agreements.

Provide legal advice on daily business operations, commercial arrangements, and strategic projects.

Support corporate actions, entity administration, shareholder documentation, and other corporate secretarial matters.

Monitor business licences, permits, and regulatory requirements across the Group’s entities and venues.

Coordinate with relevant authorities, notaries, external counsel, and other professional advisers.

Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments that may affect the Group.

Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations to management and business teams.

Support dispute resolution, claims, investigations, and litigation matters when required.

Review marketing activities, partnerships, events, and promotions from a legal and compliance perspective.

Advise on intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection, and employment-related matters in coordination with the relevant departments.

Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, registers, and contract-management records.

Provide legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders when needed.

Perform other legal and compliance responsibilities assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate, commercial, licensing, and contract law.

Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.

Ability to provide clear and practical legal advice in a fast-moving business environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.

High attention to detail with strong document-management capabilities.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.

High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

It Would Be an Advantage If You Have Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, food and beverage, property, or another multi-entity business.

Experience managing business licences and coordinating with government authorities.

Experience supporting corporate transactions, restructuring, investments, or business expansion.

An advocate licence or PERADI membership.

Experience working with external counsel, notaries, and regulators.
