Senior IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Orchestration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery (DR) Orchestration Specialist with deep hands-on expertise in Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol™. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, automation, and ongoing management of our IT Resilience and Business Continuity framework. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex, end-to-end multi-platform failover and failback workflows across heterogeneous IT environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid, databases, OS, and storage layers) while maintaining aggressive Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• DR Orchestration & Administration: Design, build, configure, and maintain automated recovery workflows using Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol™ across diverse environments (Virtual, Physical, AIX/Unix, OS, and DB layers).
• Automation & Scriptless Integration: Utilize Continuity Patrol’s out-of-the-box (OOTB) library actions and agentless architecture to automate sequence-dependent recovery processes, switchovers, switchbacks, and failovers.
• DR Drill & Testing Management: Plan and execute non-disruptive, single-click DR drills and switchover tests. Provide detailed automated drill compliance and audit reports for leadership.
• Live Impact Analysis & Visibility: Configure and leverage CXO Dashboards, real-time RTO/RPO monitoring, and automated Business & Financial Impact Analysis (BIA/FIA) modules.
• Application Dependency Mapping: Manage application-to-infrastructure dependency mapping within the platform to ensure proper recovery sequencing.
• Storage & Replication Synergy: Coordinate with Storage, Virtualization, Database, and Cloud teams to integrate underlying replication technologies (e.g., SAN replication, DB native replication, VMware SRM, cloud backup) into Continuity
• Patrol workflows.
• Incident Response & Continuous Improvement: Serve as a primary technical SME during actual unplanned disaster events or DC outages to execute recovery plans.
• Conduct post-incident analyses and continually optimize recovery workflows.

Must-Have Experience:

• Tool Expertise: 3+ years of direct, hands-on administration, workflow configuration, and troubleshooting experience with Perpetuuiti Continuity Patrol™.
• DR & BC Experience: 5+ years in Enterprise IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) architecture.
• Platform Diversity: Solid hands-on background managing DR across heterogeneous environments:
• OS: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), AIX/Unix.
• Databases: Oracle (Data Guard), MS SQL Server (AlwaysOn), PostgreSQL, SAP, etc.
• Virtualization & Cloud: VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Network & Security Orchestration: Sound understanding of DNS, NAT, IP remapping, and firewall automation during DR failovers.
• Desired Skills & Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Gartner IT Resilience Orchestration (ITRO) frameworks and ISO 22301 standards.
