Nav Sauda has 8 engaged advisors and is now seeking a 100% advisor for a permanent position. We are looking for you who believe in the possibilities of the individual, who are concerned with labor inclusion, and who are able to combine relationship competence with structure and targeted follow-up. The sum of this provides citizens and employers with good services.

Work and responsibility tasks

• Mapping of users/citizens and clarification of what form of assistance they can receive from Nav
• Case processing in various professional areas. Assessing and following up on conditions related to relevant legislation, as well as obtaining necessary documentation
• Holistic guidance and work-oriented follow-up of persons who, for various reasons, are outside of working life, with the goal of employment
• Outward-facing contact with companies and organizations with the goal of cooperation that creates opportunities for our citizens.
• Initiating and coordinating cooperation with relevant actors such as practitioners, activity organizers, employers, etc.
• Close cooperation with other employees at the office to ensure a good transition to work and activity
• Serving in a host function during the office's opening hours for the public
• Other work tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 3-year college/university education in social work, labor and welfare studies, social sciences, or other relevant professional areas.
• Competence and/or experience with case processing, guidance, and relationship work.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian, oral and written, as well as proficiency in English, oral and written. Applicants without Norwegian as a mother tongue must be able to document passed Norwegian training at a minimum of level B2.
• Good user competence in relevant IT tools, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new data systems.

It is also an advantage if you have:

• Experience from Nav and/or the public sector
• Experience from work-oriented follow-up and knowledge of the labor market
• Driver's license class B

Terms of employment

Employment takes place under the terms and with the duties that follow from current legislation, regulations, and the collective agreement for Sauda kommune. Upon employment, we will require an approved police certificate.
