Data Engineer Intern

Your tasks

• Performing routine, day-to-day data entry and system updates with high accuracy.
• Monitoring operational data flows and verifying each step of the daily process to ensure no records or transactions are missed.
• Conducting data validation, discrepancy checks, and basic quality control to spot anomalies or duplicate entries early.
• Coordinating closely with the Finance team to cross-check records, verify transaction figures, and support daily reconciliation.
• Documenting operational logs, tracking data errors, and escalating recurring issues to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• High attention to detail and a disciplined, process-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and Pivot Tables.
• Good communication skills for active daily coordination with the Finance team.\

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Apps Script to automate spreadsheet workflows.
• Familiarity with vibe coding or leveraging AI coding assistants to build quick scripts and automate repetitive tasks.
