Technical Support Engineer (x|w|m) (Engineer/Computer Scientist)

For the Technical Support area within Sartorius Stedim Systems GmbH, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer (x|w|m) at the Guxhagen location near Kassel. In this role, you are responsible for 2nd Level Support for our software product Biobrain® Supervise. In doing so, you will support our service technicians in the field at customer sites via remote access.

The team consists of eleven employees and looks forward to shaping the future with you. The job is to be filled full-time and is carried out partly remote and partly on-site in Guxhagen.

• Providing technical advice regarding the application possibilities and expandability of the SCADA system Biobrain® Supervise
• Advising and supporting service employees on a global level regarding the SCADA system in case of technical problems
• Supporting product release processes of the development departments through collaboration
• Close cooperation with the Quality and Development departments completes your range of tasks

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training with a focus on electrical engineering and corresponding professional experience, alternatively a degree as a Techniker|Meister or a Bachelor's degree with a similar technical orientation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems 10/11 and MS Server 2022 & 2025 is required
• Proficient in handling computer hardware and software
• Network and IT Administrator knowledge is desirable
• Understanding of processes in complex automation systems
• Experience in the pharma | biotechnology environment is desirable
• Strong communication skills and working at a high level with a service- and solution-oriented approach
• Fluent English skills in speaking and writing are mandatory, German skills are an advantage
• Flexibility for travel within the EMEA region for up to 20%
