Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team, focusing primarily on public sector projects within the environmental engineering industry, with a key emphasis on water and waste treatment and management. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring budget adherence from planning to completion

Manage and review contracts, amendments, and variations to ensure compliance with public sector guidelines and regulatory frameworks

Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, including bill of quantities, project specifications, and procurement strategies.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any financial or contractual issues and ensure effective communication across all project phases.

Prepare detailed project budgeting and costing reports to monitor financial performance and support decision-making

Administer project documentation including preparing interim valuations, pricing and agreeing on contract variations, updating claim submissions, and preparing final accounts

Preparation of comprehensive tender documents, detailed bill of quantities, and the development of the project's overall budget

Requirement: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, prior experience working on environmental infrastructure projects is an added advantage

Knowledge of contract law, and familiarity with Security of Payment Act (SOPA)

Other Info: 5 Days work week

8am to 530pm
