Responsibilities and duties

• Implementation, commissioning, and technical support of autonomous and automated systems for drill rigs, including start-up, FAT/SAT, and preventive and corrective maintenance;
• Participate in training at our factory and multiply the collected information to our service team;
• Programming and updating PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and automation software, as well as the integration of sensors, actuators, and industrial networks;
• Monitor the implementation of the Automine system, analyzing failures, and generating technical reports from the telemetry system;
• Support the parts area in mapping the items necessary for the full functioning of the system;
• Performance monitoring, failure analysis, and preparation of technical reports, proposing continuous improvements and solutions to increase operational reliability;
• Development of maintenance plans, technical documentation, and training for internal teams and customers, acting as a technical reference for Sandvik products and technologies;
• Identify via intranet all innovations in technical and functional specifications of our equipment;
• Evaluation of customer satisfaction and demands, proposing configurations and solutions for autonomous equipment aligned with operational requirements, technical scope, and budgetary constraints, supporting negotiations and project definitions.
• Technical support to customers and sales teams, participating in retrofit projects, implementation of new technologies, and definition of solutions adhering to operational needs.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed Higher Education in Automation Engineering and/or related areas – with active CREA;
• Advanced English;
• Mastery of autonomous systems;
• Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and electronics / Technical Standards of the products / Application of equipment materials;
• Consolidated field experience with mining equipment;
• Experience with logic programmers – Siemens, EPEC, and similar;
• Availability to travel.
