Security Manager - The Job

• GRC Strategy: Drive the organisation's governance, risk and compliance framework, from risk identification to mitigation and reporting.
• Security & Certifications: Manage compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and other relevant security and resilience frameworks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Translate European regulations such as NIS2, CER and GDPR into actionable policies, controls and processes.
• Privacy Management: Coordinate GDPR compliance, DPIAs, privacy assessments and support the DPO in data protection governance.
• ESG & Corporate Governance: Develop ESG governance processes, monitor commitments and coordinate reporting activities.
• Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, challenge existing practices and continuously improve GRC tools and processes.

Security Manager - The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in GRC, compliance, risk management or auditing.
• Master's degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management or another relevant discipline.
• Solid understanding of information security governance, GDPR, ISO standards, NIS2 and CER.
• Hands-on experience with GRC platforms, risk frameworks and internal control systems.
• Native-level Dutch or French, professional proficiency in the other national language and excellent English.
• Strong communicator with an international mindset, able to influence stakeholders and manage complex topics with confidence.
