Our partner is a national company operating in a highly regulated environment, with a lean structure where IT plays a key role in business operations. They are looking for an IT Manager who enjoys being both a leader and a hands-on technical contributor.

Your tasks

This is not a purely managerial position: you'll lead a Support team, get involved in IT projects, work closely with business stakeholders and take ownership of key compliance requirements, including DORA documentation and processes. Your decisions will translate into concrete improvements, giving you the autonomy to make a visible difference.

IT Manager - Your Role

• Lead & empower the team: Guide and develop the internal IT Support team while remaining involved in day-to-day operations and technical challenges.
• Drive IT projects hands-on: Take an active role in implementation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement, turning technical ideas into tangible outcomes.
• Own IT infrastructure partnerships: Coordinate with external IT providers, ensure effective collaboration and maintain clear accountability for infrastructure-related activities.
• Bridge IT and business: Work directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Take ownership of DORA compliance: Maintain and coordinate IT-related documentation, processes and evidence to support regulatory requirements and compliance readiness.
• Collaborate & improve: Partner with other technology teams to deliver projects, optimise IT operations and strengthen the overall IT environment.

Requirements

IT Manager - Your Profile

• Solid IT background: Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems, support or IT management, with the technical knowledge to understand issues beyond the surface.
• Leadership experience: Previous experience managing, mentoring or coordinating an IT Support team, with the ability to balance guidance and operational involvement.
• Hands-on mentality: You enjoy getting into the technical details, solving problems yourself and contributing directly to project delivery.
• DORA & compliance awareness: Familiarity with DORA-related documentation, IT processes, risk management or regulatory requirements is a strong asset.
• Stakeholder management: You can communicate effectively with technical teams, business users and external service providers, translating needs into actionable solutions.
• Ownership & organisation: You are proactive, structured and comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions and following through until results are delivered.
