System Engineer (Night Shift)

Your tasks

• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and IT infrastructure.
• Perform basic Linux administration, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with server installation, rack mounting, cabling, and connectivity testing.
• Support basic network configuration and troubleshooting, including IP addressing, TCP/IP, switches, and connectivity.
• Assist with CCTV system installation, configuration, connectivity checks, and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform system monitoring, preventive maintenance, software updates, and hardware replacements.
• Support infrastructure implementation projects, testing, documentation, and handover.
• Maintain technical documentation and report technical issues to the relevant teams.

Requirements

RequiredSkills and Knowledge

• Minimum ITE qualification in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in IT support, system engineering, infrastructure support, or a related field.
• Basic IT knowledge with a background in Linux administration.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of servers, computer hardware, networking, and IP addressing.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to work night shifts as required.
