Requirements
- Min. Bachelor degree
- 5-10 years experience of P&C treaty reinsurance, particularly property treaty underwriting
- Experienced and knowledgeable in Asia Market, preferably China and Hong Kong
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and business partners
- Good interpersonal skills
- Organized and meticulous with the ability to multi-task
- Willing to travel
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities include but not limited to following:
- Underwrite and assist to manage the Treaty portfolio of his/her assigned markets/clients including but not limited to pricing and modelling, portfolio analysis, nat cat accumulation monitoring, credit control, administration, etc.
- Execute the underwriting plans and strategies of the assigned markets/clients to achieve target profitability of the assigned
- To ensure guideline compliance on business written
- To monitor treaty performance
- To assist in treaty marketing activities and develop client strategies to provide excellent client service
- To do research on the trends of reinsurance markets and participate in developing business strategies
- To conduct Ad-hoc projects as and when needed
