Senior Field Application Engineer, Display

About the Role Provide technical support to customers during product development, ensuring smooth qualification and timely mass production while fostering strong customer relationships and delivering product insights. Responsibilities Deliver front-line technical support to customers during product development to resolve issues and facilitate progress Gather and document detailed technical requirements and specifications from customers to guide product development Communicate technical issues clearly and provide detailed explanations to the HQ Application team for resolution Conduct regular customer visits to build and strengthen long-term relationships and trust Assist customers throughout product qualification phases to ensure adherence to development schedules until mass production (MP) Present pre-sales technical information on product strategies, roadmaps, features, industry trends, and competitive positioning to customers Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform Marketing on design requirements, product improvements, and new product opportunities Demonstrate and explain new products to customers to support adoption and understanding Perform tests and evaluations for display product qualification to verify product performance and compliance
Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry Practical field experience or hands-on knowledge in multi-disciplinary system design and development, including electrical, electronics, computerized, and mechanical systems Field experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in the notebook display industry Understanding of the display ecosystem in the ASEAN and India regions Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences Strong analytical skills to understand client needs and collaborate on delivering valuable solutions
