Develop the master project plan according to contract agreement
Monitoring and updating project cost (material, labor, subcontractor, equipment/plant, indirect cost) prediction based on the site progress
Review and study for cost saving items for the execution of project
Manage the compilation and ongoing Work Front procedures and plans specific to the needs of the business, and review, monitor, analyse, and report work front statistics, objectives, and targets for business improvement
Lead the process innovation and initiatives
Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Prepare various monthly reports for headquarter
Evaluate labour cost, man hours and manpower requirements against budget constraint
Plan and prepare baseline schedule which includes cost loading, resource loading, progress update and cash flow
Ensuring that the project is completed within the specified budget, timeline and comply with contract quality specifications and relevant regulatory requirements
Produce and maintain accurate project schedules and understand schedule resources loading
Manage complete financial cycle such as vendor purchase orders, client, cost proposals and invoices
Requirements:
PE Board recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 12 years of Civil & Infrastructure engineering experience in construction industry and in similar scale and complexity of mega civil / construction projects in main contractor capacity
Strong analytical, research, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently as well as a team effectively
Knowledgeable in Primavera P6 will be added advantage skill/qualities.
Ability to communicate with all stakeholders including with headquarters and government agencies.
Good construction project flow knowledge
6 days work week with long working hours and ability to work on weekends and public holidays when required to meet tight project deadlines
