Job Opening: Accounting & Tax Division

Samdo Consulting was established in 2023 in Singapore as part of Samdo Accounting, which was founded in 2015 in Korea. More than 350 professionals currently work at Samdo Accounting in Korea. Our Singapore office is the second global branch of Samdo Accounting, following our Vietnam entity, which was incorporated in2020 and employs over 150staff.

Weare looking for a candidate to join our Accounting & Tax division.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing a broad client base across various industries.
• Help ensure compliance with statutory obligations , including filing tax returns and submitting financial statements.
• Support bookkeeping and daily accounting operations, including month-end closings, audits, and annual reporting for clients.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with payroll operations and support clients with budgeting and cost analysis.
• Help prepare and file corporate tax, employer tax, and GST returns.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Diploma or degree in accounting or a related field.
• Additional certifications such as ACCA are a plus.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, relevant statutory rules, and good understanding of regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as XERO, MYOB, SAP, or Payday, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Korean or another language is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in dependently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification. Candidates currently working towards a CPA qualification are also welcome to apply.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).
