About the position

Are you an experienced sheet metal worker looking for a challenging, varied job in the aviation industry? SAMCO, located next to Maastricht Aachen Airport, offers you the opportunity to work on the damage repair of aircraft parts. Whether you have experience in aviation or come from another sector, such as automotive damage repair, we would love to welcome you to our team.

As a sheet metal worker at SAMCO, you are co-responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work on aircraft. You assess the damage to parts and repair them according to the repair guidelines. Additionally, you replace damaged sheet metal and repair damages. You use sheet metal tools and small machines to make new parts fit or to repair existing parts again. You work according to strict safety regulations to ensure that the aircraft are returned to optimal condition.

What we offer

• A gross monthly salary between €2,500.- and €3,200.-, depending on knowledge and experience.
• A one-year contract with a view to a permanent contract.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer, with a maximum of 30 km one way.

What we ask

• At least a completed MBO education in metalworking or a comparable technical education.
• Work experience as a sheet metal worker (experience in aviation is a plus, but not a requirement).
• Good technical skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to work accurately according to specifications and drawings.
