Safety Technician - Mechanical / Electrical Engineer or Civil Engineer
SAMARAS QHSE SOLUTIONS S.A., in its capacity as an External Protection & Prevention Service (ΕΞ.Υ.Π.Π.), provides consulting services on Health, Safety, Quality & Environment matters to businesses of all kinds (industry, manufacturing, commercial enterprises, technical projects). As part of its continuous growth, the company wishes to integrate into its dynamic team a: Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineer for the position of Safety Technician, full-time on technical projects in the wider area of N. Attica.
Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance and advice for worker Safety and the prevention of occupational accidents
- Inspection of construction sites and client facilities for compliance with Health & Safety rules
- Preparation and updating of Health & Safety Plans & Files (ΣΑΥ, ΦΑΥ) in accordance with legislation
- Monitoring the implementation of Safety rules based on current legislation and the requirements of each project
- Submission of proposals for the reduction of occupational risk and the improvement of working conditions
- Participation in project teams that prepare studies and programs regarding Occupational Health and Safety
- Participation in training programs for employees and management
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (ΑΕΙ/ΤΕΙ)
- At least 2 years must have passed since obtaining the degree (ΑΕΙ) or 5 years (ΤΕΙ)
- Very good knowledge of English and IT
- Passenger car driving license and ability to travel
- Team spirit, consistency and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in technical projects
- Experience in Occupational Health & Safety matters
