Salud Digna is looking for an Assistant Manager of Asset Procurement, Foreign Trade, and New Projects

Objective:

Fundamental objective of the position: To ensure that the acquisition of furniture, equipment, tools, import and export products required by the organization for its correct operation and the start of projects is carried out efficiently following established processes and policies, guaranteeing competitive negotiations, proper selection of suppliers, effective supply planning, and compliance with applicable legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the operational execution of the procurement process for furniture, supplies, equipment, and tools, ensuring timely supply for clinics, openings, remodeling, and special projects.
• Authorize purchase forecasts and manufacturing projections for furniture and equipment, guaranteeing they possess the appropriate quality for the organization's operations.
• Ensure the consolidation and strengthening of transparent, ethical, and professional commercial relationships with strategic allies and suppliers of the organization, strengthening the institutional image as a serious, prudent, and reliable client, and fostering long-term collaboration links.
• Ensure that the agreements, prices, and purchase conditions established through contracts with strategic allies and suppliers are appropriate for the institution.
• Promote constant analysis of new supplier proposals to ensure the institution always has the best market negotiations for its operation.
• Guarantee compliance with the objectives established in the internal indicators of the procurement area. Adequately represent the procurement area in internal and external audits.
• Authorize improvement proposals in the processes of the asset procurement and international trade area, with the objective of optimizing expenditure and maximizing staff efficiency.
• Supervise the work, performance, and results of the evaluation of subcontracted suppliers for the supply of inputs in the procurement area, ensuring that such results are presented to and validated by the suppliers through the corresponding acceptance and signature.
• Continuously evaluate workloads, their balancing, and fair remuneration according to the functions, seniority, value contribution, and experience of the collaborators under their responsibility.
• Be a promoter and manager of continuous, appropriate training for the personnel in their area, including themselves, to contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives of the area and their position.
• Assign activities of greater responsibility to team members who possess the necessary attitude and skills to carry them out, allowing them to consolidate, develop, and be more efficient in the operation.
• Identify and develop team members who can handle more responsibilities, leading them to become future leaders of the organization.
• Request through the corresponding institutional means everything that both they and their work team require to fulfill their respective ORDOs.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in international trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration.
• Language: conversational/business English.
