Responsibilities:

Manage and grow client social media presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook with a primary focus on LinkedIn for regulatory and professional audiences. Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned to the marketing plan, featuring regulatory news, thought leadership articles, event coverage, and industry commentary. Create and schedule posts, engage with relevant communities, and monitor brand mentions and engagement metrics. Set up and manage new social media accounts for client including handle creation, branding consistency, and account security. Produce short-form video content, reels, and stories from events and conferences. Track performance analytics and report on reach, engagement, and follower growth to the Team Lead. Support the production of monthly insight-driven content, including articles, regulatory commentary, industry briefings, and social content. Assist in coordinating the development of flagship whitepapers (e.g., "Revenue Leakage in African Gaming Markets" and "Modernising Gaming Regulation in Emerging Markets"). Draft, proofread, and format content for external publication, ensuring alignment with client positioning as a credible, expert voice in African regulatory markets. Support the preparation of presentations, briefing packs, proposals, and pitch materials for government and institutional engagements.  Draft and coordinate press releases for product launches, partnerships, event announcements, and regulatory milestones. Support media placement activities, including liaising with PR/communications agency partners on behalf of client. Maintain a media contact list and assist in coordinating interview scheduling and media briefings. Monitor press coverage and compile media reports for the Team Lead. Provide comprehensive logistics and coordination support for 3–4 major industry events and conferences annually, including booth setup, sponsorship deliverables, materials preparation, and on-site execution. Coordinate the organization of regulator workshops and training sessions — managing venue logistics, faculty scheduling, invitations, branded materials, hospitality, and post-event reporting. Prepare event briefing documents, run-of-show schedules, and post-event impact reports. Represent the client professionally at all events, conferences, and external engagements.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of MBA/MSC 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
