SAKAI Landscape & Design Ltd. is seeking a full-time Landscaping Supervisor.

Position: Landscaping Supervisor (NOC 82031)

Number of Positions: 1

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school

Job requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in landscaping

Language Requirements: English

Start date: ASAP

Wage: $37.00/hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscapers and helpers who maintain gardens and other landscaped areas
• Organize the planning and maintenance of gardens and other landscaping work and assign duties to workers
• Plan, estimate, and maintain materials and labour requirements
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities
• Resolve issues and report progress to clients
• Train workers in job duties and safety procedures
• Assist in hiring workers and managing operations of the company
• Perform the same duties as landscapers such as pruning, trimming, paving stone installation, building waterfalls, retaining walls, garden fences and patios, maintaining lawns, etc.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, working at heights

Work Location: Various locations

Work Site Environment: Outdoors
