Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, administer and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments, primarily using Microsoft Azure .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS infrastructure, including virtual machines and cloud services.
• Manage Azure networking , including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID in hybrid cloud environments.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation projects from on-premises to Azure.
• Manage cloud security using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related security controls.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure availability, performance, capacity and security.
• Manage Windows Server, VMware/ESXi and Hyper-V infrastructure supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, including RTO/RPO requirements.
• Perform vulnerability management, patching, incident resolution and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS .
• Experience in Azure networking, Entra ID/Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments .
• Experience with Windows Server and VMware/Hyper-V .
• Knowledge of cloud security, backup/DR and ITSM processes.
• Azure certifications and PowerShell scripting experience will be an advantage.
