Safran.AI - AI that operates in the real world A subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, Safran.AI designs AI solutions applied to complex data such as high-resolution satellite imagery, FMV video streams, and acoustic signals. These solutions rely on algorithms capable of automatically detecting and identifying objects of interest in the intelligence, defense, and aeronautics sectors. Since its integration into Safran in September 2024, Safran.AI also contributes to the group's transformation by applying AI solutions to the fields of Industry 4.0. For example, AI-automated image analysis can assist controllers in charge of inspecting critical parts by helping them detect potential anomalies from digital images. The challenges of the position As a Solution Architect, you are the technical point of reference for our prospects, responsible for designing and communicating the architecture of Safran.AI solutions. Working in close collaboration with sales teams, business/defense experts, as well as engineering and product teams, you translate operational challenges into robust, scalable, and pragmatic solutions. In this capacity, you: → Support sales teams during pre-sales phases by leading workshops, presentations, and technical exchanges with prospects; → Analyze the business and technical challenges of prospects, translate them into functional and technical requirements, and form a vision of the solution; → Design the architecture of solutions, evaluating different options against technical, functional, economic, security, scalability, performance, interoperability, and operational criteria; then communicate these choices through architecture deliverables adapted to different stakeholders, both internally and with prospects; → Identify technical risks and, when necessary, implement proofs of concept to secure solution choices; → Work in close collaboration with engineering, product, and deployment teams to validate the feasibility of architectures and the specific developments required; → Contribute to the continuous evolution of the company's Solution Architecture practices. On the techno side: → Our development teams use robust technologies such as Python, FastAPI, Typescript, Docker, PostgreSQL, Nomad, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, PyTorch, AWS, Notion, Slack. → We are primarily a software publisher, while being fully capable of supporting our clients on integration and infrastructure challenges according to their needs. Our scope of intervention thus covers everything from providing ready-to-use Docker images to deploying a sovereign datacenter, including the integration of our solutions into third-party systems such as GIS platforms, data platforms, or command software. About you You are passionate about innovative technologies and customer relations, appreciate international environments, and wish to evolve in the demanding and stimulating world of defense: → You have at least 5 to 8 years of professional experience, with concrete experience in custom software development. You are thus comfortable understanding and responding to the needs of prospects requiring specific developments, going beyond mere deployment and integration issues. Ideally, you have successful initial experience as a Solution Architect. → You have a good command of software architecture principles, as well as integration, interoperability, security, performance, and deployment issues; → You are proficient in English, both written and spoken; → You are available for regular international travel, averaging two three-day international trips per month; → You demonstrate a strong sense of organization, rigor, and autonomy, and know how to manage several subjects in parallel in demanding contexts; → You enjoy teamwork and the role of interface between different internal teams and clients, and are able to unite these different stakeholders through excellent communication and synthesis skills; → Experience in the geospatial, defense, or highly security-constrained environments is an additional asset.
