Secondary Math Inclusion Teaching Assistant

Job description

Safa British School is seeking an experienced and dedicated secondary maths inclusion teaching assistant to join our inclusion team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual with a strong understanding of the British curriculum, particularly IGCSE and A Level Mathematics, who is passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

Have strong subject knowledge and experience supporting IGCSE and A Level Mathematics.

Have experience working with students with additional learning needs within a secondary school setting.

Be confident in differentiating and adapting learning activities to meet individual student needs.

Work effectively alongside subject teachers to provide targeted in-class support.

Have a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and strategies that promote student independence.

Be able to build positive, supportive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations.

Use a range of strategies to support students with their academic, social and emotional development.

Be proactive, flexible and collaborative, working closely with teachers, the inclusion team and families.

Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
