MEP Project Manager

Currently, we are looking to incorporate an MEP Project Manager in Madrid, who shares our commitment to quality, responsibility, and excellent service.

Functions and responsibilities of the position:

• Lead the assigned installation projects in their various phases: bidding, detailed design, and construction support.
• Analysis of contractual requirements, specifications, and project planning, and ensuring their compliance.
• Resource allocation among projects.
• Leadership in internal tenders for the contracting of external engineering support and similar services.
• Contact and follow-up with the various market agents in the field of installations (installers, prefabricators, engineering firms, manufacturers...)
• Value Engineering for the improvement and optimization of projects.
• Review and supervision of installation projects carried out by external engineering, including all disciplines.
• Performing basic engineering such as: principle diagrams and single-line diagrams, calculations, measurements, drafting of narratives (reports, specifications, reports, etc.)
• Support to the procurement department through the preparation of supporting documentation for requests for quotation.
• Performing technical comparisons for the selection of the supplier or subcontract. Coordination with the purchasing department.
• Follow-up during the construction phase.
• Support for commissioning and startup of installations.
• Attendance at technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and interdepartmental meetings with leadership capacity regarding the scope of their functions.

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competencies:

• A multidisciplinary engineer is required with experience in leading installation projects encompassing all disciplines.
• An industrial engineering degree is required (Industrial Engineering, ITI/Degree in electricity/mechanics/electronics, telecommunications).
• Experience in installation projects for critical infrastructure (hospitals, data centers, airports, museums, tunnels, industry…).
• Participation in installation projects in singular and/or critical buildings, of high technical complexity and international scope.
• Minimum B2 English.
