About the role We are currently seeking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Perth, with a key focus on supporting the delivery of the New Mandurah Hospital Project. You will provide practical WHS support across the project, while promoting a positive safety culture through engagement, education and continuous improvement. This is a site based, hands-on role with the opportunity to make a real difference on a major infrastructure project in Western Australia. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will work closely with crews and leaders to help create a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace. Key responsibilities Providing day to day WHS advice and support to project teams and subcontractors

Conducting site inspections, observations and risk assessments

Coaching supervisors, leading hands and crews to improve safe work practices

Supporting incident investigations, including root cause analysis and human factors

Assisting with audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and one-on-one coaching

Supporting compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations

Promoting compliance with the project Safety Management System and procedures

Completing relevant reporting and administrative tasks associated with the role

Building strong working relationships with employees and contractors across the project

About you Minimum 4 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within Building projects or related sectors

Sound knowledge and practical application of Australian WHS legislation and industry standards

Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)

Experience supporting risk management, workplace inspections, incident investigations, safety systems and audits

Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting capabilities

Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

Experience in ICAM investigations and/or internal auditing of safety management systems will be highly regarded
