Procurement Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Within the Group Purchasing Department, based in Bordeaux, you report directly to the Direct Purchasing Manager. You manage several Purchasing segments across various aeronautical and technical fields. You manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers for which you are in contact with the supplier's top management and the top management of the Sabena technics Group. For critical or strategic purchasing families, you formalize a 3-year purchasing policy upon which you base your daily actions. Being at the heart of the development of the Purchasing Strategy, you are responsible for savings and the level of contracting within your scope, as well as the management of the supplier relationship. You negotiate and implement contracts. You source and prospect in order to challenge portfolios. You are an expert on your suppliers and rely on a network of existing or potential innovative and competitive partners. You implement monitoring and management of supplier performance. You establish reporting for your activity. You take part in the improvement of the management process and the reliability of data and contribute to cost control. Travel is to be expected in France and internationally.

Profile Description: With a background from a business school, engineering school, or a specialized master's degree. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing, if possible in the aeronautical maintenance sector. We are open to commercial profiles specialized in industry. You also have a good level of English and a good command of IT tools. The main qualities required for this position are diplomacy, tenacity, rigor, and having a strong ability to evolve in a technical environment.
