Aeronautical Maintenance Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:

Within the Production Support department, under the authority of the Technical Manager, the Engine Support Engineer (M/F) ensures and manages all assigned operations by providing technical expertise, proposing and implementing improvement actions in their field.

Your main missions will be: Provide support to Production on complex troubleshooting, communicate with OEMs and subcontractors, and ensure follow-up; Perform engine parameter monitoring as well as support in your field to the Supply chain for interchangeabilities; Conduct weekly follow-up of ongoing business, perform reporting, and prepare presentations for Technical Conferences; Study Service Bulletins related to your field and provide support to the workshop Technical Office and the OGMN; Ensure the technical and financial follow-up of quotes issued by shops and OEMs, by performing a critical analysis of the proposed services: technical consistency, contractual compliance, relevance of the work, compliance with engine standards; Issue reasoned technical opinions to guide techno-financial decisions; Contribute to the optimization of engine maintenance costs through an analytical approach to quotes, repair trends, and feedback; Identify and propose areas for improvement regarding technical performance, reliability, and cost control; Travel occasionally as a Field Service Representative to represent the interests of the company or the final customer to OEMs and subcontractors; Ensure on-site technical follow-up of operations, defend technical and contractual positions, and ensure compliance with commitments regarding quality, costs, and deadlines.

Profile Description:

Education and Experience: You are a graduate of an engineering school and have significant experience (minimum 8/10 years) in aeronautical engine expertise.

Technical Skills: Good written and oral communication: ability to synthesize, write, report, and make decisions; Technical English: C1 level; IT proficiency; Engine expertise: functional knowledge of turboprop and turbojet engines, analysis of engine parameters and associated troubleshooting, engine airworthiness monitoring.

Associated Skills: You are recognized for your organization, rigor, and diplomacy; You possess good observation and analysis skills.
