IT Security / SOC Analysts (m/f/d) Project number: 19024

These are your tasks:

• Active support in the establishment and operation of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of security events and alarms
• Detection, processing, reporting, and mitigation of Cyber Security Incidents
• Carrying out Security Monitoring as well as supporting Threat-Hunting activities
• Regular reporting on security incidents, their causes, and countermeasures
• Carrying out vulnerability scans as well as supporting the elimination of identified vulnerabilities
• Collaboration in the further development of security processes and Incident-Response-Playbooks
• Cooperation with internal specialist departments, the ISMS team, and external service providers

This is what we expect from you:

• Successfully completed studies in Informatik or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT security
• Professional experience in operations or in projects related to Cyber Security
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SIEM, Endpoint Protection / EDR, IDS / IPS, Firewalls, IAM, Netzwerk-Security
• Knowledge in the field of IT and Cyber Security Management
• Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Teamwork skills and strong communication skills
• Good written and spoken English skills
