Your role

The role of a production-oriented production technician involves working with deviation management in production together with others in your team. Together with the rest of the support team, operators, production technical preparation, and designers, you will work with investigations of technical problems and continuous improvements.

You will be part of the management team within the workshop section where you operate, together with production managers, quality technicians, and production controllers. In the management team, we work together to achieve the set goals for the business. This can, for example, be developing guidelines and activities or working with target hours and lead times.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has experience in production technology and/or workshop experience within assembly-oriented production. We would also like to see that you have a technical education or alternatively have good production technical competence acquired in another way.

The work as a production technician involves extensive collaboration with different departments and business units within the company, as well as external companies.

• You find it easy to make contacts and build relationships, as well as have good language skills in English.
• In the role, it is important that you are creative and can find new solutions to problems that arise in production, and that you are driving and take initiative to move forward.
• You need to enjoy working in a team and be driven by achieving common goals.
• You thrive working at a high pace while ensuring good quality.
• Being a person who sets demands for yourself as well as others in your network to achieve results is important in this role.

Other knowledge that is meritous is having a good understanding of 3D data and production data. It is also beneficial to have system experience within the business systems IFS ERP and SHARP. Experience in requirement management/fulfillment of requirements within operations is also meritous.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security protection regulations applicable at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance classification, this may, where applicable, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
