Your role

Do you want to combine your flight operational experience with the training and development of future crews? We are now looking for an Instructor Pilot for Flight Training in Linköping.

As an Instructor Pilot, you will work with planning, developing, and conducting training for our customers and operators worldwide. You will collaborate closely with colleagues within flight operations, technical, and support to ensure that the training is of the highest quality and meets the needs of the business.

Depending on your experience and background, there is an opportunity to develop towards the role of simulator instructor on SF340, S2000, G6000 or G6500.

The position involves international travel and periodic work away from your home base. However, your primary location will be at Saab's facility in Linköping.

Your main tasks

• Develop and implement training concepts and training programs.
• Plan and conduct classroom instruction as well as practical training.
• Contribute with after-sales support and continued operational support to customers.
• Produce, develop, and maintain operational documentation such as SOP, CONOPS and TTP.
• Create and further develop training materials and course documentation.
• Ensure that training documentation and training records are correct and up to date.
• Maintain training aids, manuals, and related documentation.

Your profile

We are looking for you who is an active or former pilot and who has experience from military aviation, special missions, or other advanced flight operational activities.

You thrive in the role of a knowledge bearer and are inspired by developing others. As a person, you are communicative, unpretentious, and find it easy to build trust in collaborations with both colleagues and customers. You also have a structured working style and the ability to translate complex information into clear training efforts.

We believe you have

• Experience as a pilot within military or civil flight operational activities.
• Very good communication skills in speech and writing.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Very good collaborative skills and social competence.
• English equivalent to at least ICAO level 5.

Meritous

• Experience from Special Mission operations.
• Instructor certification or previous experience in training activities.
• Experience in simulator training.

For the position, the following is required:

• Passed result in alcohol and drug testing according to current regulations.
• Approved security clearance according to Saab's security requirements.
