Construction supervisor

Building Supervisor — Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily building construction, maintenance, and repair activities.

Oversee workers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure work is completed properly and on schedule.

Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, hazards, and maintenance issues.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and building requirements.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and building management.

Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment according to project requirements.

Monitor project progress and report delays, issues, and required corrective actions.

Maintain records of inspections, work progress, maintenance activities, and site incidents.

Arrange and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works.

Respond to building faults, breakdowns, complaints, and urgent repair requirements.

Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safe conditions within the building and surrounding areas.

Assist with inspections, testing, handover, and completion of building works.

Prepare daily or weekly reports and provide updates to management.

Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company procedures.
