Your tasks

Job Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.

Conduct material take-offs and quantity measurements from drawings and specifications.

Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate pricing for cost-effective solutions.

Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports to ensure budget compliance.

Assess variations, change orders, and claims to manage project expenditures.

Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure accurate cost tracking.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to optimize cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and local regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration.

Proficiency in quantity surveying software (AutoCAD, CostX, or similar).

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost assessments.
