As an expansion of our team, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for our Automotive Radar sensors.
Your Tasks Development of embedded software, mainly in C, and to a limited extent also in C++ and Python Design and implementation of application software for radar sensors in the fields of automotive, industry, and defense Integration of software modules from other groups, creation and adaptation of software interfaces Unit and integration tests (GoogleTest and PyTest) Participation in the software development process: creation of feature tickets, analysis, implementation, tests Customer interaction regarding requirements, tests, and problem-solving
Your Strengths Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable subject area Significant professional experience in software development, especially in embedded C software development Experience with automotive radars, particularly with TI AWR radar solutions and/or NXP SAF85xx as well as TEF RFICs and/or NXP S32R4x radar processors In addition to very good programming skills in C/C++, basic Python knowledge is important Experience with relevant systems such as JIRA, Redmine, GIT would be desirable Knowledge of Linux would also be an advantage You enjoy working in a team and possess a "hands-on mentality" Good to very good English skills are necessary
