Hair Stylists are beauty care professionals who work in a salon styling and cutting customers’ hair. They’ll often talk with the customer to understand their style preferences, recommend an option that works best for the client and perform a hair cut, highlight or style accordingly. Hair Stylists work to inform their customers on the best hair care products to try and may sell the salon’s products to customers.

• Communicate with customers to understand their style preferences and recommend suitable hair options
• Perform haircuts, highlights, and styling according to client needs and preferences
• Advise customers on appropriate hair care products to maintain hair health and style
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits and appointments
• Follow salon cleanliness and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for customers
• Stay informed on current hairstyles and trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations
