Nice-to-have:AWS

About the role You will be the face of Ryz Labs on the conference floor. Your job is simple to describe and hard to do well: go to the industry events where our buyers are, start great conversations, and turn them into qualified meetings and closed deals. Las Vegas hosts some of the biggest trade shows in the world, and we want to be at all of them: from CES to Money20/20, plus AWS re:Invent, Black Hat, NAB Show, Shoptalk and more. You'll walk the floor, generate new leads and turn them into revenue. This is a full-time sales role, measured on pipeline and closed deals. What you'll do

  • Attend tech, startup and industry conferences in Las Vegas, walking the floor and representing Ryz Labs.
  • Proactively approach founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering and other decision-makers to introduce our startup studio and talent services.
  • Research each event beforehand: who's exhibiting, who's speaking, and who we should meet. Book meetings in advance whenever possible.
  • Qualify leads on the spot and book follow-up calls with the right people on our team, or run the sales conversation yourself through to close.
  • Log every contact, conversation and next step in our CRM within 24 hours of each event.
  • Follow up quickly and persistently by email, LinkedIn and phone so no conversation goes cold.
  • Attend side events, dinners, happy hours and networking sessions where the real relationships get built.
  • Share what you hear on the floor (market trends, competitor moves, buyer pain points) with leadership.
  • Build and own our Las Vegas event calendar, and report on the pipeline and revenue each one produces.

What we're looking for Must have

  • Based in the Las Vegas area, or willing to relocate before starting.
  • 3+ years in B2B sales, business development or event-based selling, ideally in tech, software services or staffing.
  • A track record of meeting or beating sales targets.
  • Genuine comfort walking up to strangers and starting conversations, all day, for several days in a row.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and a polished, professional presence.
  • Highly organized and disciplined with follow-up and CRM hygiene.
  • Able to work long event days, including some evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

  • An existing network in the startup, VC or tech community.
  • Experience selling outsourced engineering, nearshore talent or agency services.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce or a similar CRM.
