The Role

• As part of the Strategy Team, you will support the organization in all RWE offshore regions in managing and implementing the offshore strategy, evaluating business opportunities, and developing strategic plans.
• Together with experienced Strategy Managers, you will take on the management of strategic projects and lead individual workstreams within these initiatives.
• By analyzing developments in the offshore wind sector and the broader energy markets, you will provide valuable insights for strategic and business decisions. In doing so, you will identify opportunities, risks, and potential areas for action.
• Your tasks also include participating in central strategic projects in close cooperation with the operational and functional areas of RWE Offshore - including the annual update of the corporate strategy.
• You will continuously keep an eye on competitors, technological developments, and market trends within the offshore wind industry and assess their long-term impact on our business.
• By building close relationships with key stakeholders, you will develop a deep understanding of the organization, capabilities, and strengths of RWE Offshore.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field, ideally supplemented by an advanced qualification or an MBA.
• Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a leading strategy consultancy and/or in the field of corporate strategy.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to successfully manage multiple topics simultaneously.
• You can quickly grasp complex issues, structure them, and translate them into clear decision options and concrete recommendations for action.
• Experience in project management and in dealing with various stakeholders at different levels.
• Creativity, openness, curiosity, and a willingness to learn characterize you. At the same time, you enjoy working in a team and impress through integrity and reliability.
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing, as well as the ability to act confidently in an international business environment.
• Knowledge of markets and technologies in the field of renewable energies is an advantage.
