Sales Estimator

We’re working with an established business within the construction and manufacturing sector who are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their team. This is a varied role combining estimating, customer relationships, technical drawings and business development, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the commercial and technical side of a project. Responsibilities: As a sales estimator you will… Manage the full estimating process, from initial enquiry through to accurate and commercially competitive quotation. Interpret technical drawings and project specifications to determine pricing and requirements. Source and negotiate costs with existing and new suppliers, working closely with procurement where required. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, responding to enquiries professionally and promptly. Identify and develop new business opportunities, supporting wider sales and business development activity. Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry events to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities. Maintain strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and product knowledge, ensuring work is accurate and delivered within agreed deadlines.
