Hours:

• Week 1: 2 nights only (Mon and Tues)
• Week 2: 2 days 2 nights (Mon - Thurs)
• Week 3: 3 days (Wed - Fri)
• Additional - 1 Sunday night shift every 6 weeks

Russell Taylor is working exclusively with a global company who's logo can be recognised in any main retail chain, this is an exciting time to join this company whilst they are going through growth/ site investment. This is a hands-on role working as part of a production team, with full training provided. Ideally, you will have previous experience within a manufacturing, production, food production or packing environment, although candidates with the right attitude and transferable experience will also be considered.

The Role:

• Operating and monitoring production and packing equipment
• Ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
• Preparing and supplying materials and packaging for the production line
• Carrying out line adjustments, product changeovers and equipment set-ups
• Checking product quality and ensuring required standards are maintained
• Completing production, quality and material usage records
• Carrying out routine safety and quality checks
• Identifying and reporting production issues and working with relevant teams to resolve them
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised production area
• Following company procedures relating to food safety, quality and health & safety

About you:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or packing environment is desirable
• Experience working around production machinery or packing lines would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, practical and willing to learn
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
