Your tasks In this leadership role, you will ensure the technical and organizational management of the Financial Accounting department.

Your other tasks include:

• Ensuring the timely and correct preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Responsibility for financial accounting and ensuring proper bookkeeping
• Responsibility for conducting preliminary audits and main audits
• Preparation of variance analyses and evaluations as well as reconciliation of accounts and balances
• Ensuring compliance with internal regulations and legal requirements
• Management and optimization of processes in financial accounting
• Reliable contact person (m/f/d) for the Head of Controlling / FiBu as well as the auditors
• Monitoring the accounting of the subsidiary company abroad (India)

What you bring with you

• a degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting (alternatively further training as a Finanzbuchhalter or Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d)), further training as a Steuerfachwirt (m/f/d) or a commercial apprenticeship
• Proficient handling of SAP FI/AA and MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of commercial and tax law and in the area of VAT
• Leadership experience
• Good English
