Requirements

• Open to Asian and European candidates, preferably 50 years old or below, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage NPD/R&D and regulatory affairs, preferably in functional beverages, sports/hydration drinks, energy drinks, functional foods, or nutraceuticals. • Proven hands-on experience in beverage development from formulation through commercial production, including functional ingredients such as electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, caffeine, and botanicals. • Experience with UAE/GCC, EU, UK, and/or US food and beverage regulations, including product registration, labeling, shelf-life/stability testing, and manufacturing scale-up.

Position Title: Head of Product Development & Regulatory Affairs Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 30,000 inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE About the Client: A Dubai based, growing tech-enabled Commercial business backed by a diversified holding group serving the region Job Description: • Bridge formulation, scale-up and food regulatory affairs, end-to-end development of beverage specifically for hydration/electrolyte and energy drinks. • Manage regulatory compliance, product registration, labeling, nutritional information and claims, ensuring products meet applicable UAE/GCC and target-market food regulations. • Partner with manufacturers, laboratories, flavor houses and ingredient suppliers to manage trials, testing, production scale-up, quality standards and successful commercialization. • Manage packaging and product reformulation and continuous improvement of existing products.
