- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and site workers
- Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed on schedule
- Inspect construction work to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related problems
- Prepare site progress reports and construction documents
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and building regulations
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Relevant experience in building construction or site engineering
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and site procedures
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
- Able to work on construction sites and meet project deadlines
