Your tasks

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Take charge of projects assigned to him

1. Requisition of resources for the projects such as labour, materials, equipment and

others

1. Planning of timely delivery and reduce/ minimise wastage of material/ equipment/

resources

1. Monitor the progress and performance of sub-contractors

1. Perform project management to ensure that project progresses according to schedule

and to take the appropriate corrective action when deviations arise

1. Liaise with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work and statutory authorities on matters

concerning the progress of work, acceptance of work, approval of plans, problems

faced and others

1. Liaise with Purchasing Department on the delivery of items purchased for the project

1. Ensure proper hand over of project to the customer when it is completed

1. Be responsible for the administration of contract, claims, disputes, variation and final

accounts

1. Provide on-job-training to new project staff

1. Assign and supervise subcontractors' work

1. Ensure safety practices are followed

1. Solve all work co-ordination or technical problems at site

1. Carry out inspections of incoming materials and equipment for the projects at the work

site

1. Conduct quality checks on work done by workers

1. Raise non-conformance product report for nonconforming products

1. Conduct Project Planning

1. Prepare and Control shop drawings

1. Prepare Material Requisition

1. To carry out and monitor stock control on materials at site

1. Recommend and execute corrective method for Non-Conformance Performance

1. Prepare Quality Plan

1. Ensure all site execution with valid approved drawing, Architect Instruction, Engineer

Instruction, Written Instruction from client/ main contractor representative

1. Carried out assignment as detailed by the Senior Manager/ Project Manager/ Assistant
